Daniel McCoy is Chief Learning Officer for Allegiant Travel Company. Prior to his transition to CLO, he served as the Senior Director of E-learning, Technology and Creative Services for the College of Education at the University of Florida. He has worked in advertising, e-commerce, multimedia design and education. Dr. McCoy has developed learning technology for instruction in Aviation, Education, Dentistry and Medicine. He has given numerous presentations on the subject of electronic and distributed learning both nationally and internationally. Dr. McCoy’s research addresses ideologies of learning and instructional practices informed by the emergence of new technologies.
